Hydraulic Institute
From May to December of 2024, I worked as a Marketing Intern for the global authority on pumps and pump systems, Hydraulic Institute (HI), based out of Parsippany, NJ. This internship allowed me to tackle all different types of marketing, focusing mostly on digital and social. Most of my work involved creating video content for the YouTube channel and marketing collateral for print and digital. The content made went out to over 20K combined social media followers and over 70K annual website visitors.
Pump PROfiles - Get to Know the Pros
This YouTube video campaign was preexisting when I arrived to HI, however, it needed a lot of work and consistency. I took the bull by the horns and independently made this my project. I took raw footage given to me by the marketing coordinator and imported it into Adobe Premiere Pro. I created all of the title slides with Canva and found most stock footage from Adobe Stock. I tried to keep these videos short, sweet and concise so the viewer can stay interested in the professionals’ career journey. I’ve attached all the videos below.
Another video project I completed was given to me by the technical team. HI prides itself in its pump trainings that are super intensive with heavy engineering jargon. We decided to collaborate and make video content out of our training videos that can be used to answer questions anyone has about the pump industry such as the different types of pumps and motors. I was given specific parts of the videos to include then edited them in Canva. Most of the stock images and videos were found with Adobe Stock. All of the videos are attached below.

Short-Form Video
HI was not known to have short-form video content on their platforms. I took the initiative to change that and create some reels from our YouTube videos, free resources and conference highlights. Showing our audience these little snippets of the company diversifies our pages and gives them a sneak peek as to what member life is like. I used Canva to create these reels. All are attached below.
